The soil is gravel and sand, and the vineyard is one large, contiguous parcel. The wine is vinified in traditional cement vats, aged in 25% new, French oak barrels for 12 months, and has a second wine, La Tourelle de Croizet Bages.

The best vintages of Chateau Croizet Bages are 2019, 2018, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2012, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2006 2005, 2003 and 2000. The wine is best served at 15.5 degrees Celsius, 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
