The 77.5-hectare vineyard is divided into 150 separate parcels and planted to 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot, with a vine density of 8,500 vines per hectare. The terroir is gravel, sand, and clay-based soils, while their best parcels of vines are situated close to the chateau. The estate practices sustainable farming techniques in their vineyard management program.

Chateau Prieure Lichine Wine Chateau Prieure Lichine is known for producing rich and full-bodied red Bordeaux wines that exhibit notes of black fruit, chocolate, and spice. The wine is aged for up to 16 months in 55% to 65% new, French oak barrels before bottling.
